Meet Alysha

Alysha Kuhl, MSN, AGACNP-BC is a board certified Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and enjoys seeing patients both in the outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital setting, working closely alongside our physicians to provide detailed and evidence-based care.

Alysha is a native Houstonian who obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Sports Medicine from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2016. She went on to receive a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2017. Following nursing school, she returned to native Houston and began working as a bedside nurse in Cardiac Progressive Care and Cardiac ICU in the Texas Medical Center, receiving certifications as a Cardiovascular RN (CVRN) and Critical Care RN (CCRN).

She has a deep love for patients and the care they receive and that passion led her to return to school to obtain her Master's in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner, graduating in 2022. In addition to work at this bedside, Alysha's schooling included rotations in Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure, and Intensive Care through which she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. In addition to providing patient-centered care and education, Alysha enjoys spending time with her young family, cooking and time outdoors.
